Description
Kalevala Koru brings the magnificent jewelry treasures of the Viking Age from 800-1050 within reach of today's people. Vikings stopped by the Finnish coast during their eastern trade voyages and exchanged furs for weapons and jewelry, among other things. Inspired by these jewels from different parts of the world, Finnish jewelers created new jewelry, which surprisingly took on a distinctly original, Finnish form. The jewelry created then, in turn, inspired later jewelers to design jewelry that clearly had a Viking Age spirit. Germund Paaer, the creator of Kuutar, designed many beautiful Viking-themed pieces of jewelry. Kuutar is the most popular of his designed jewelry of all time and has been produced since the mid-1940s.
Note! The jewelry shows slightly more wear.
