This ring is inspired by a piece from Finnish Lapland, specifically the Enontekiö-Kittilä area. Sámi rings, which this ring represents, often feature jingling rings or pendants. They were traditionally given as gifts to the bride's family during a marriage proposal. Sámi rings were always made of silver.
