The prototypes for the amulet's mounts come from hoards hidden a thousand years ago. Unstable conditions caused people to bury their treasures, but sometimes various beliefs also influenced the hoards. The most charming mounts from treasure finds have been assembled into the amulet. The designs for the heart motif likely originate from eastern mounts. The prototypes for the decorative mounts were found in Linnanniemi, Hämeenlinna.
