Description
The delicate decorative motifs of the jewelry are inspired by the victory wreaths of the ancient world. Wreaths were used to crown heroes and also became a symbol of eternal life. In the Empire style, which admired classical features, a pure classical design language was also reflected in architecture. The grand architecture of the Empire style enlivens the Finnish cityscape to this day. Goldsmith Tony Granholm's Juulia jewelry collection celebrates the timeless beauty of the style by choosing the victory wreath as its motif. The jewelry collection was named Juulia after the daughter of perhaps the most famous wearer of a laurel wreath, Julius Caesar. The Juulia wreath is adorned with blue topaz.
