Ristomatti Ratia was asked to design an item in memory of his mother, Armi Ratia. The idea for the jewelry came from three sentences Armi wrote in her diary when she was 14 years old: There is only one duty - beauty. There is only one reality - a dream. There is only one power - love. From the three circles born from these words, a tripartite heart was formed. The product series was named Faith, Hope, and Love.
