The size 17.5 (2nd quality) ring is slightly bent.

The wide base of the ring is decorated with raised ridges and stamped patterns. A zigzag pattern is repeated in the stamped patterns. This is one of the oldest forms of decoration, found all over the world. In Egypt, the pattern symbolised water. Ancient water symbols depict the creation of life. The ring's prototype originates from Yliskylä in Perniö, dating back to the 12th century.
