This horseshoe-shaped brooch, dating back to the 11th century, was originally made of partially gilded silver. The surface of the ring and pin is decorated with dotted and twisted lines, as well as circles. In the middle of the brooch is a thickening, adorned with an engraved runic animal. Judging by its distinctive appearance and meticulous craftsmanship, it was custom-made for a highly esteemed client. The original brooch was found in Virusmäki, Maaria.
